Meet our Dental Staff
Jeanette - Dental Assistant
While assisting Dr. Matz chair-side, Jennette uses her extensive background in dentistry to help patients have the most positive experience possible.
Her first job was working part-time in the X-ray department of a small hospital in Northern Idaho. It was there that she realized allopathic medicine has limited effectiveness treating disease or returning patients to full health. This realization lead her to seek alternative modalities of healing and soon thereafter she stumbled upon the concept of "preventative" dentistry. "What..??! A simple string run between the teeth every day could prevent tooth decay…??! I MUST know more…" - thought Jennette.
This launched her quest to learn all about the field of Dentistry and quickly found she enjoyed the technical aspects as well as working up close and personal with people. After a decade of working in general dentistry she pursued a position with a Periodontist in Tigard specializing in implant placement. She worked over 20 years learning about tissue grafting, bone regeneration and the emerging advancements in the Implant arena.
Now, after relocating to the Eastside, Jennette is honored to be under the excellent tutelage of Dr. Matz and continues to learn about treating patients as individuals with Biological Dentistry. She is delighted to serve Dr. Matz and his wonderful patients!
