Teeth get stained from just normal daily use. Patients who engage in daily habits of drinking coffee, tea, or smoking may find that they have dark stains. If you have found yourself wondering if over the counter teeth whitening products really work, Dr. Matz can help. At Arbor View Dental, we offer both in office and at home teeth whitening options. Working with our Portland office means that Dr. Matz will answer your questions and monitor your progress. Over the counter whitening products are a low peroxide product, many at 3% peroxide. Our dental office At-home whitening kits contains from 3% to 20% peroxide, and In-office we are able to increase that amount to 15% to 43% peroxide depending on your needs. Additionally, we may recommend other ideas to help including changing composite fillings or dental bonding or veneers. The opinion of your dentist is always your best option, he is educated to help.
